Nine secondary schools experiment with multilingual education

On 1 september 2007 starting nine secondary schools in Flanders a pilot project for multilingual education. These schools will three years under scientific guidance experiment with Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). With CLIL is 10 to 15% of the weekly lestijdenpakket offered in another language. This means that the pupils one or a few specific subjects in another language, e.g. Latin and aesthetics in English or power and greatest exponent in French.
