American scientists of the University of Harvard have examined how quickly the irregular verbs in English are evolved, read regularly. They have this evolution examined over a period of approximately 1200 years. There were 177 In the Oudengels irregular past times, in the Middenengels still 145 and today is still only 98, as seen from their research.
That irregular werkwoordvervoegingen that not so frequently used not survive in the long term, we knew already. This research shows the pace at the evolution takes place.
